The Software Engineer- Test will be responsible for most aspects of software test projects.
This includes all phases of a product lifecycle: requirements gathering, software design, implementation, and maintenance.
The deliverables include a highly adaptable, sustainable infrastructure capable of supporting numerous test areas.
The candidate will be a member of a small to medium-sized team.
The candidate will be required to identify and implement current automation tools and frameworks to enhance test automation efficiency.
Additionally, maintaining and enhancing existing automation frameworks will be expected.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Control System testing includes test case development and implementation.
Conduct requirements analysis, test coverage and traceability.
Performs test automation investigations, reporting on problems encountered and documenting results for follow-up.
Develops automated software and product test procedures to requirements.
Provides input into the design and implementation of system testing.
Perform reviews of automation plans.
Experienced in Agile and SDLC
Education Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with concentration in software; or equivalent knowledge in the areas of Embedded Software Engineering and control Systems.
(Requirements analysis, embedded software design and testing. Test automation).
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in test automation and control system testing,
Minimum 7 years’ experience with LabVIEW.
In depth knowledge of software test and automation methodologies required.
Experience in the development of test automation solutions.
Experience with common software programming languages.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Leverages own expertise by sharing lessons learned, documenting processes, conducting team de-briefs, etc.

Adheres to policies and procedures relating to standards of business conduct, ethics, and conflicts of interest and completes annual training in same.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with client products or other industrial control equipment is highly preferred.
