About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and empathetic Senior UX Researcher to join their product team on a fully remote basis. This role is critical in uncovering user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform product strategy and design decisions. You will plan, conduct, and analyze a variety of qualitative and quantitative user research studies across the entire product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of research methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for advocating for the user. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure our products are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet the needs of our diverse customer base. Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute a range of user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and ethnographic research.
- Analyze research data (qualitative and quantitative) to identify key insights, user pain points, and opportunities for improvement for our client.
- Translate research findings into actionable recommendations and present them clearly to cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to define research objectives and integrate findings into product roadmaps.
- Develop and maintain user personas and journey maps based on research data.
- Advocate for user needs and represent the user’s voice throughout the product development process in a remote context.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience conducting user research in a tech or product development environment.
- Expertise in a variety of research methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings effectively.
- Experience working collaboratively in a remote or distributed team environment.
