Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Supervise, plan, assign and review the work of staff engaged in the following duties: shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories of materials, and other related activities

· Planning and coordinating all operational work with the Building Leads to achieve zero downtime in operations.

· Work with the Building Leads to achieve daily targets of the buildings, meet forecasted volumes and analyze variances to meet the targets of the buildings.

· Train all the new Warehouse Supervisors and Shipping Associates to ensure compliance with the operational requirements as per SOPs.

· Assigned as the escalation contact for discrepancies, damages, shortages and receiving issues, ensuring that issues are properly documented.

· Ensure Building Leads and staff are adhering to applicable workplace safety, security policies, and standard regulations.

· Regularly prepare and submit reports.

· Arrange maintenance and repair work.

· Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.

· Evaluating warehouse supervisor performance and providing direction, correction, or additional training to ensure proper maintenance of the building.

· Resolving complaints, problems, and requests in the operation.





· Assisting with emergency response and evacuations.

· May perform the same duties as workers supervised.

Requirements:

· Diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Facility Management, or a related field.

· Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, or distribution operations.

· Solid verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, customers, and service providers.

· Forklift certification/licence is considered an asset. Candidates with previous forklift certification that has expired may be considered, provided they are willing and able to complete recertification.

· Demonstrates a solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify operational challenges and approach problems as opportunities for improvement.

· Ability and willingness to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment and coordinate effectively across departments.

· Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage a complex and diverse workload while meeting operational deadlines.
