We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that each guest has an exceptional experience. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and providing outstanding hospitality to our patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS, for processing orders and payments.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while maintaining cleanliness in the bar area.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly,
ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of beverages and supplies, reporting shortages as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to create a seamless dining experience for guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume service periods effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential.
