OshiNori is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Server to join our team in Vancouver.

We are looking for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working as part of a team. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our guests, explaining our menu, taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages, and helping maintain a clean and organized restaurant.

Knowledge of Japanese food, sake, wine, or cocktails is an asset, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide friendly and attentive service
- Explain menu items and answer questions about food and beverages
- Take food and drink orders accurately using our POS system (Toast)
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally
- Check on guests throughout their dining experience
- Process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, patio, and service stations
- Assist with opening, closing, and side duties




- Restock service areas as needed
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures
- Help create a positive and welcoming workplace for guests and coworkers

Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts
- Serving It Right certification is an asset
- Experience with Toast POS is an asset, but not required
