Job Summary

Join our energetic team as a Part-time Server and become the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will deliver exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and satisfied. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a lively, positive atmosphere where guests want to return again and again.

You must have a valid smart serve certificate. There is a possibility to get more hours once the person is fully trained.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and give correct change using cash handling procedures
- Assist in food preparation and ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are maintained
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
- Perform closing procedures according to the restaurant standards.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with excellent customer service skills




- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and transaction processing
- Effective communication skills for guest interactions and teamwork within the restaurant staff
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
