What You Would Do in This RoleThe Junior Pipeline Designer assists in the preparation of design documents and drawings during the execution of a project specific to their discipline specialty (Piping, and Civil). Duties include:Drafting moderate-to-complex 2D drawings, charts, schedules, etc.Preparing as-built drawings based on field red-line markupsDeveloping designs and layouts requiring theoretical and practical design knowledge in a specialized fieldAssuring that work complies with the accuracy level and time constraints required for the assignmentPotentially directing work for a small number of Junior Designer/Drafters, providing guidance and instruction on work methods, and checking finished workDrafting 2D drawings including PFDs, P&IDs, DPDTs, MSDs, plotplans, key plans, site plans, etc.Drafting intelligent P&IDs using Plant 3D or other such software3D modeling using Plant 3D softwareRequirementsTechnical school certification / degree or equivalent experienceProficiency in AutoCADAbility to work within a multi-disciplinary team including Process, Mechanical, Civil, Structural & Architectural, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls and PipingExcellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-discipline environmentStrong organizational skills,
