As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll deliver direct resident care, medication administration, and clinical support. This role requires collaboration with care aides and nurses to ensure high-quality care while supporting resident wellbeing. Your leadership will guide the care team, fostering a nurturing ethos for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications safely and accurately
• Monitor health status, reporting changes promptly
• Encourage resident independence and engagement
• Document care needs and outcomes accurately
• Maintain safety protocols and infection control
Requirements:
• Current LPN registration in BCCNP
• Criminal Record Check - Vulnerable Sector
• Current First Aid / CPR Certification
• WHMIS Certification
• Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s preferred
