Legal Assistant – Plaintiff Personal Injury Law Glowinsky Law | Toronto, ON Full-time | Permanent Glowinsky Law is seeking a Legal Assistant with approximately 1–3 years of experience in Plaintiff personal injury law to join our team.

Experience with tort claims, motor vehicle accidents, accident advantages, dog bites, falls, long-term disability benefits denials, and related personal injury matters is preferred.

Qualifications

Completion of a post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program

Minimum 1 year of civil litigation experience

Minimum 1 year of Ontario Plaintiff personal injury experience

In-depth understanding of personal injury law and legal terminology

Robust knowledge of the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure

Strong computer and typing skills (55+ WPM)





Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and digital dictation

Experience with PCLaw, Primafact, ACL, Tracument, Filevine, or similar legal technology is an asset

Responsibilities

Manage administrative duties, including email and calendar management, meeting coordination, scanning, and circulation of mail

Prepare legal documents and correspondence under the supervision of lawyers, using precedents and instructions

Maintain organized and up-to-date physical and electronic files

Transcribe digital dictation as required

Coordinate with and delegate tasks to other administrative departments

Provide backup coverage for team members when required

Assist with other duties and projects as assigned

Salary: $36,830.02–$64,827.17 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
