Responsibilities
Conduct thorough examinations to assess orthodontic needs using dental and medical terminology for accurate diagnosis
Develop customized treatment plans utilizing advanced orthodontic techniques and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for precise appliance creation
Apply braces, invisalign, retainers, and other orthodontic devices to correct dental irregularities
Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure optimal results
Educate patients and their families on orthodontic procedures, oral hygiene practices, and maintenance of appliances
Maintain detailed records of patient treatments using dental office management software such as Tracker
Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care, especially in pediatric cases involving pediatrics expertise
Requirements
Valid state licensure or certification as an Orthodontist with active clinical practice rights
Proven experience working in a dental office environment, with strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Proficiency with dental practice management software including Tracker
Familiarity with CAD technology for designing orthodontic appliances and treatment planning
Experience treating pediatric patients (pediatrics) is highly preferred
Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and procedures to patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced, team-oriented setting while maintaining high standards of patient care
