This position currently is scheduled as night shifts 7 on 7 off. This position allows opportunity to work in a brand-new ED doing general Xray, with some opportunity to expand your rotational experiences.
Description
Description: The Medical Radiation Technologist I (MRT) performs all routine radiographic/fluoroscopic, computed tomography and interventional procedures. The MRT I also produces radiographs of high diagnostic quality in an efficient and safe manner while attending to the diagnostic and care needs of patients undergoing diagnostic/therapeutic procedures. The MRT I is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health.
This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Skilled/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Radiological Technology program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required.
Additional Required Qualifications
Reliable, self-motivated, organized and able to work in a quick-paced dept.
Preferred Qualifications
Some recent hospital experience.
