Bimi Express Market is a small, friendly Japanese takeout shop in downtown Victoria. We are looking for a reliable, positive Part time Food Counter & Kitchen Helper to join our team.
Parking is provided, which is a valuable benefit when working in downtown Victoria.
What You’ll Do
Provide friendly customer service and operate the cashier/POS system Prepare rice bowls and simple hot food Complete light food preparation Pack sushi and ready-to-go food Restock food and supplies Keep the kitchen and counter clean and organized Assist with general daily opening and closing duties
What We’re Looking For
Reliable and punctual Friendly and comfortable serving customers Able to work efficiently as part of a small team Willing to learn and help with a variety of tasks Food service or customer service experience is an asset, but not required Sushi experience is not required; training will be provided
Students and semi-retired applicants are welcome. We are especially interested in someone seeking a stable, regular part time schedule and hoping to stay with us long-term.
Pay & Benefits
$19–$21 per hour, depending on experience
