Responsibilities
Provide customized massage therapy sessions using various techniques such as , deep tissue, or sports massage to meet client needs
Assess client conditions and discuss their wellness goals to develop effective treatment plans
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments
Communicate clearly with clients about their comfort levels and any specific health considerations
Keep detailed records of treatments administered and client progress in compliance with privacy regulations
Stay informed about the latest massage therapy practices and incorporate new techniques as appropriate
Promote ongoing wellness programs and recommend self-care practices to enhance client results
Experience
Proven experience as a licensed Massage Therapist with a strong understanding of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain positive client relationships
Robust communication skills to effectively explain treatment options and listen attentively to client feedback
Ability to work independently while managing multiple appointments efficiently
Certification or licensing as required by regulations for practicing massage therapy
Prior experience working in a wellness or healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory
