Freebird Market + 10tation Event Catering is looking for a reliable and professional On-Call Delivery Driver to support our weekend deliveries. This role is ideal for someone looking for adaptable, occasional work who is comfortable driving throughout Toronto and the GTA. Most shifts will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, with hours varying depending on our delivery and event schedule.
As an on-call driver, you will be contacted when shifts are available and will help ensure orders are loaded correctly and delivered safely and on time.
Responsibilities
Load, transport, and deliver food and catering orders throughout Toronto and the GTA
Review orders before leaving to ensure all items are accounted for
Safely load and unload orders from the delivery vehicle
Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
Ensure orders arrive safely, professionally, and on time
Provide friendly and qualified service when interacting with clients
Communicate with the team regarding deliveries, delays, or any issues that arise
Follow all transportation laws and company safety procedures
Assist with loading and other delivery-related duties as required
Requirements
Valid Ontario G driver's licence
Clean driving record
Previous delivery or professional driving experience preferred
Reliable and punctual, with solid time-management skills
Comfortable driving throughout Toronto and the GTA
Able to safely lift and carry delivery items
Strong attention to detail
Professional and customer-service focused
Comfortable working independently
Available for on-call shifts, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays
Flexible availability, as shift times will vary depending on delivery requirements
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
