We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team at Vaycay Brewpub in Marda Loop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety
Support the team in maintaining an organized and clean kitchen environment
Serve dishes with professionalism and attentiveness to guest needs
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours

Qualifications




Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments required
pizza experience is a huge bonus
food handling certificate is not required but a good asset
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Solid understanding of meal preparation and presentation standards
Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
Passion for the food industry with a focus on delivering quality customer experiences
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
