A pharmacy assistant makes sure that the pharmacy operates efficiently and has an important role in assisting the pharmacist in filling prescriptions. Other duties and responsibilities include:
Assist in maintaining inventories of medication and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
Ensure the prescription records have accurate information and enter client information in the database.
Create an oral compound solution, ointments and creams as per the pharmacist’s instructions.
Bill insurance companies.
Prepare blister packs
Provide customer service and retrieve prescriptions for transactions at the cash counter.
Answer phone calls, emails or customer inquiries in a qualified manner.
Job Types: Full time, Part time Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
