Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish
Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
Support the team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
Handle food with care, adhering to proper storage and handling procedures to prevent contamination
Maintain organized workstations and ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning properly
Collaborate with kitchen staff to execute orders efficiently and uphold high standards of presentation
Experience
Previous food service experience, particularly in a restaurant or similar setting, is highly preferred
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Experience in meal preparation and working in a fast-paced workplace is advantageous
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks required in a kitchen setting
Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities within a culinary setting
