Duties
Diagnose, repair, and maintain marine engines, outboard motors, and small engines used in various recreational and commercial applications
Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, replace parts, and reassemble engine components with precision
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, spark plug replacements, and system calibrations
Keep detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules for each engine




Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair procedures to ensure a secure working environment
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently and effectively

Qualifications
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working on marine or small engines
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., for detailed repairs
Experience operating power tools safely and effectively in a workshop setting
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose engine issues accurately
Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality repairs and maintenance
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
Prior experience with engine diagnostics or certifications related to marine or small engine repair is preferred but not required
