Hospital seeks a Canadian Royal College certified General Pathologist for their three-person practice. You'll manage around 8,500 surgical pathology cases annually, focusing on case sign-out and oversight of diagnostic processes. The ideal candidate will possess recent clinical pathology experience and demonstrate robust skills in both surgical pathology and laboratory diagnostics. Key Responsibilities:
Perform surgical pathology and cytology case sign out
Sign out clinical pathology cases including blood smears




Oversee local laboratory operations and transfusion medicine
Participate in daily quality assurance videoconferences
Provide medical directorship for rural area labs if interested

Requirements:
Canadian Royal College certification or equivalent
Solid skills in surgical pathology and transfusion medicine
Recent clinical experience in pathology
Comfortable with independent practice in a small group
