We are seeking a Landscape Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of planting and maintenance tasks related to landscaping. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape planting and maintenance, with experience using hand tools and power tools. Responsibilities
Planting of trees and shrubs.
Placement and raking of topsoil and bark mulch.
Full-Season Maintenance: Execute routine tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, edging, weeding, mulching, and debris removal.
Equipment Operation: Safely and competently operate and maintain landscaping machinery (weed whackers, mowers, blowers, trimmers, etc.) and company vehicles, when required.
Site Management: Maintain a clean, professional job site while monitoring plant and lawn health.
Communication: Maintain professional and courteous communication with clients and supervisors.
Qualifications
Physical Fitness: Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and seasons. Able to lift ~50 lbs regularly.
Reliability: Punctual,
dependable, and team-oriented. We count on you to show up ready to work each day.
Communication: Good English skills (spoken and written) for in office coordination and understanding instructions.
Experience: Previous landscaping experience is an asset for technicians.
Must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
Reliable transportation; must live in the Lower Mainland.
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (Class 3 is an asset).
Gear: Proper work gear (steel-toe boots and weather-appropriate clothing) is required.
First Aid, Confined Space, and Fall Protection training are assets.
