Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician

Ellert Mechanical is looking for a dependable Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.

Pay: $70/hour — contractor position

Specialty tooling as required
A mix of field and shop repairs
A straightforward, team-focused work setting

The ideal candidate will:
Hold a recognized Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician certificate
Have solid diagnostic and repair skills
Work confidently without constant supervision
Perform well under pressure and in harsh conditions
Be honest, dependable and ready to work
Communicate professionally with customers
Take pride in completing repairs correctly and efficiently
Maintain the service truck, tools and work area

Field-service experience, a valid driver’s licence and a clean driver’s abstract are considered robust assets. We’re looking for a skilled mechanic who takes ownership of their work and wants to be part of a solid, hardworking crew.
