Front End Counter Staff The Lab by Mill Town Roasters is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused Front End Counter Staff to join our opening team.

At The Lab, we're more than a coffee shop—we're a space where outstanding coffee, exceptional food, and genuine hospitality come together. We're looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a fast-paced workplace, and takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences.

What You'll Be Doing
Greeting guests with a warm, welcoming attitude
Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Preparing and serving coffee, espresso-based beverages, and other drinks
Delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive guest experience
Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-of-house
Operating the POS system and processing payments
Assisting with opening and closing duties
Working closely with the kitchen and café team to ensure smooth service

What We're Looking For
Previous customer service experience is required
Barista or café experience is considered a solid asset




A positive attitude with excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Reliable, dependable, and a team player
A passion for coffee, food, and hospitality

Availability Applicants must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
