Carpenter Co., a leader in comfort cushioning products, is searching for a dedicated 1st shift Machine Operator at our Calgary plant. You will be responsible for the safe handling of production machinery, providing quality checks, and recording data in SAP. A strong focus on continuous improvement and maintaining cleanliness in your work area will be essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct pre-use inspections on assigned equipment • Follow production schedule and work instructions • Maintain records in SAP accurately • Perform quality checks to meet specifications • Operate heat bond iron for packaging materials
Requirements: • High School Education or GED required • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Basic reading, writing, and math skills needed • Familiarity with tape measures essential • Manufacturing experience is an asset
