Duties
Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures
Assist with vehicle inspections,
ensuring compliance with safety standards and warranty requirements
Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours
Support team members with technical guidance on complex repairs or assembly tasks
Requirements
Valid state-issued automotive technician license or certification demonstrating mechanic experience
Proven dealership experience or similar automotive repair background
Strong mechanical knowledge across diverse vehicle systems and components
Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and repair guides
Experience with welding, heavy lifting, and the use of various hand tools and power tools
Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs
