Job Summary

We are seeking a Metal Fabricator to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have robust background in metal fabrication processes like grinding, cutting etc. Note that this will be a contract subjected to renewal and possibly leading to a full time position.

Duties
Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products
Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
Operate cutting saws to cut raw material (Tubes, Pipes, flat bars etc)
Degrease and clean the parts
Maintain a clean and protected work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications
Grade 12 or equivalent
Must be familiar with using hand tools like grinders, sanders, buffers etc.




Must be Canadian citizen or Permanent resident
Forklift license an asset
Familiarity with machining processes is a plus.
Ability to perform basic math calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
