Scholars Education in Winona is seeking a French language tutor, capable of tutoring both Core and Immersion French language skills from grade 1 to grade 9. As a tutor and mentor with Scholars Education Centre, you will be responsible to provide superior individualized academic support to students. You are joining a dynamic team who want you to make a difference for each student who you have the opportunity of working with!

Essential Job Functions
Instruct students on an as-needed basis. Curriculum materials provided.
Accurately provide reporting regarding student progress as required.
Follow, adapt, and provide feedback regarding each student’s tutoring session.
Attend training workshops as needed.
This is an IN PERSON position.

Requirements
University BA, or must be currently enrolled in a university level program with good standing.
Proficiency in English and French.
Proven ability to competently and confidently facilitate student sessions in the French language.




Excellent communication skills.
Able to work both as a part of a team and independently.
Solid communication and multitasking abilities.
Experience with students in a teaching or tutoring environment.
Excellent organizational skills.

Job is a PT position, or supplementary income position. Must have ongoing availability for a minimum of two of the following: Monday (3-8pm), Tuesday (3-8pm), Wednesday (3-8pm), Thursday (3-8pm), Saturday (9am-2pm).

Adaptable scheduling.

No FT positions available.

Compensation: $19.00/hr
