Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
Wash, chop,
portion, and store food items
Prepare sauces and soups
Assist with stocking and organizing kitchen inventory
Filling out prep lists
Washing dishes
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment
Follow food safety and health regulations
Assist line cooks as needed during service
Complete opening duties for restaurant
Receive and properly store deliveries
Requirements
2 years of prep experience required
Knowledge of scratch cooking
Valid Food Handler Certificate required
Culinary school an asset
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Must be available mornings, weekends, and some holidays
