Become a part time Graduate Research Assistant at McGill University, dedicated to archiving digital materials from the Snowflake community in Arizona. This role emphasizes generating metadata for community archives. As a full-time McGill student, you'll work directly with the principal investigator on digitization and metadata projects.

You’ll learn about essential metadata standards and contribute to the development of a community-based archive. Additionally, you’ll participate in relevant workshops to gain practical experience and present your work at academic conferences. Key Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively within a research team framework
Acquire knowledge in metadata standards and data techniques
Generate accessible metadata for university archives




Attend and engage in community workshops for archiving
Present archival insights at conferences to diverse audiences

Requirements:
Full time McGill University student status required
Authorized to work in Canada on and off-campus
Demonstrated interest in disability and chronic illness issues
Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal
Commitment to part time hours for the project's duration

Contribute valuable community history through digital archiving and support the needs of those affected by environmental illnesses.
