Bursey Cleaners is seeking an experienced Building Cleaner to join our facilities maintenance team for our HMP location. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in commercial cleaning and facilities upkeep, ensuring that our premises are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment dedicated to maintaining a clean and welcoming facility.

This is currently an evening shift from 4pm - Midnight Monday - Friday.

Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of all building areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as trash removal, floor care, and surface sanitization
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
Maintain cleanliness standards according to company protocols and safety guidelines
Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to support overall facility upkeep




Ensure all cleaning activities are completed within scheduled timeframes and adhere to health and safety regulations

Requirements
Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance
Solid knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Prior experience in facilities maintenance or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
A clear Criminal Records Check/ Letter of Conduct

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
