Overview

We are seeking a friendly and effective Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between the kitchen and dining area, ensuring that guests receive their orders promptly and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellent customer service, a keen eye for detail, and experience in food service or hospitality environments.

Duties
Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guests’ tables efficiently and accurately
Ensure all dishes are presented correctly and meet quality standards before serving
Assist servers with food presentation and table setup as needed
Maintain cleanliness of service stations and dining areas throughout the shift
Support kitchen staff with basic food handling, preparation, or replenishing supplies when required
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions
Handle guest inquiries professionally and provide excellent guest services
Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards at all times




Assist with cleaning duties including clearing tables, sweeping, and wiping down surfaces

Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not mandatory
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
Basic understanding of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and move quickly around the dining area
