Enerwood is seeking an experienced, safety-focused Grinder Operator to join our wood-recycling and manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a Excavator to feed a CBI 6800 horizontal grinder
Process bark, wood waste and green waste
Complete daily pre-trip and equipment inspections
Monitor production and material quality
Perform routine maintenance, greasing and cleaning
Identify mechanical problems and report required repairs
Maintain a clean and protected work area
Follow all company safety procedures
Qualifications
5 years experience operating Horizontal grinder or CBI grinders
Strong knowledge of grinder operation and maintenance
Ability to operate loaders and Excavators with other support equipment is an asset
Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot basic issues
Reliable,
punctual and able to work independently
Valid driver’s licence
Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
