This position offers opportunities to learn PCL’s estimating systems, conduct quantity surveys, and develop drafting skills. Your work will significantly contribute to our construction projects while expanding your qualified toolkit. Key Responsibilities:
Understand PCL's estimating manuals and systems
Review quantity surveys with lead estimator
Perform assigned drafting and design tasks
Provide major purchase item quantities to purchasing
Control bid documents and perform bid day tasks
Requirements:
Robust desire to work in the construction field
Prior field construction experience is an asset
Proficient in computer software for drafting and spreadsheets
A vehicle is required for access to Nisku, AB office
Open to learning and developing estimating skills
Develop valuable skills and relationships in the construction industry with PCL's estimating team.
