Become a vital member of PAARC’s Opioids Program as a Full time Addictions Counsellor in Mississauga. Provide essential support and education to clients struggling with opioid use through counselling and case management. PAARC is seeking a dedicated Addictions Counsellor/Case Manager to develop and manage its Opioids Program.

This full time role involves conducting assessments, creating tailored care plans, and facilitating group sessions while advocating for client needs. Your expertise will play a crucial part in helping individuals navigate their recovery journey. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and intake screenings
Provide ongoing counselling and case management services
Respond effectively to crisis situations
Facilitate structured therapy and support groups
Maintain accurate documentation of client files

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Trauma-informed counselling skills
Valid Ontario Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
