Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Excavator Operator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy machinery, primarily excavators, to facilitate various construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure effective site development, excavation, and material handling while maintaining safety standards. Duties
Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and pavers to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
Assist with the operation of auxiliary machinery like horizontal drills and Caterpillar equipment for specialized tasks
Collaborate with team members to interpret project plans and execute accurate excavation according to specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work environment by performing regular equipment maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work site
Support other construction activities including paving, grading, and site cleanup as needed





Requirements
Proven experience operating excavators in a construction setting with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation
Mechanical knowledge related to excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving machinery
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification for operating heavy equipment on public roads if required
Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery and other major brands used in construction projects
Ability to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently
Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices to maintain a protected work environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting
Additional skills such as horizontal drilling, loader operation, or paving experience are highly desirable
