Material Handler197 Norseman St, Etobicoke, ON M8Z 2R5, CanadaCompensationHiring Range: $24.03 – $25.97 per hour.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for wrapping and delivering completed molded skids, ensuring the boxes are placed on the skid as per the packing specifications.Tightly wrap the skid so that the boxes are properly secured.Create Pallet ID for all skids of products produced.Perform Molding and IML production MP transaction scanning.Deliver the wrapped skid to the warehouse for storage.Assist in transporting products for QC to and from the Warehouse.Keep records of pallet ID created during MP transaction for tracking purposes.Replenish all packing supplies at the scheduled machines, following IPS at the machine and signing the offline clearance sheet.Replenish empty skids on the production floor.Remove broken or damaged skids to the warehouse.Replenish the tape machine when it is empty.Keep records of corrugates, liner bags, and U boards brought to the production floor for traceability.Collect purge and drool twice during the shift, as well as scrap bags from the production floor and place it in blue bins.Clear any scrap products lying around the machine area and place them into scrap bins.Recharge the battery of the electric hand truck when low.Perform daily checks on the pallet truck and keep records,



reporting any issues to the supervisor.Remove scrap bins/gaylords from the floor once full and replace them with empty bins.Ensure all corrugates delivered in the production area are free from straps and that no loose straps remain on the floor.Ensure that there are not excessive pallets or box bundles brought and/or stored on the production floor.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications & RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent.Previous experience handling the electric hand truck would be an asset.Certified in operating a walkie pallet truck.Fluent in English with positive verbal and written communication skills.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift more than 30 pounds, stand and walk for long periods, reach above and below shoulder height, kneel, bend, and perform repetitive movements such as gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling.EEO StatementThis position is open to applicants legally authorized to work in Canada.AccessibilityPolytainers Inc. is committed to providing accessible employment practices that are in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
