The role requires a certified Palliative Care Physician who works collaboratively with a passionate healthcare team to deliver care across various settings. You will engage in mentorship roles and enhance your practice within a supportive network of providers, ensuring comprehensive care for patients and families. Key Responsibilities:
Work as part of the integrated Palliative Care Service
Assist in the development of innovative Palliative Care programs
Provide care across hospitals, homes, and hospice environments




Follow-up with patients after initial consultations
Mentor students and family medicine residents from Dalhousie University

Requirements:
Certification in Palliative Care or equivalent necessary
Preference for full time experience in palliative medicine
Eligible for specialty licensure in Nova Scotia
Capacity to commute to multiple care settings
Knowledge of therapeutic paracentesis is advantageous
