Join our dynamic team as an Equipment Operator/Tractor Driver, where you will be helping to harvest soybeans and corn. Tractor driving skills/experience will be a huge asset. This position is seasonal but could lead to full time employment.
Duties
Operate tractors for grain handling and manure spreading
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal performance
Use mechanical skills to inspect equipment for issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs when needed
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and project progress requirements
Proven experience operating tractors is a definite asset
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs and routine maintenance on machinery and tools
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in outdoor equipment maintenance and construction work
Solid understanding of safety protocols related to heavy machinery operation and outdoor work environments
Ability to follow detailed instructions while working independently or as part of a team
Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions for extended periods
