Vor-Tech Services Inc. is currently seeking a 4th or 5th Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team.
We are looking for an experienced apprentice with a robust background in commercial electrical work. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a crew, reading drawings, troubleshooting, and completing installations in a safe and professional manner.
Location: GTA and surrounding areas
Position: Full-Time
Duties & Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain commercial, including lighting, panels, distribution equipment, devices, conduit, and wiring.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and other construction documents.
Troubleshoot and test electrical systems and equipment.
Work safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Coordinate with foreman, project managers, other trades, and site personnel as required.
Assist and mentor junior apprentices when appropriate.
Follow company and site-specific health and safety requirements.
Requirements
Registered 4th or 5th Year Electrical Apprentice (309A) in Ontario.
Previous commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
