Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Salary: $140,000–$200,000, depending on experience The Chance A leading and growing Canadian law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate/commercial lawyer with experience in M&A;, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, private equity, and/or complex commercial transactions . The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders on sophisticated legal matters.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support M&A; and corporate transactions.
Advise on partnerships, joint ventures, investments, and strategic transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements and contracts.
Analyze and manage legal and commercial risks associated with complex transactions.




Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to senior leadership.
Work with internal stakeholders and external counsel on transaction execution.
Support corporate governance and general corporate matters as required.

What We're Looking For
4+ years of post-call experience in Canada.
Robust corporate/commercial legal experience, particularly in M&A;, private equity, partnerships, joint ventures, or complex commercial contracts.
Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated agreements.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong commercial judgment and a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
Member in valuable standing with a Canadian provincial law society.
