Join Victim Services of Waterloo Region as a Coordinator focused on high-risk individuals facing Intimate Partner Violence. This full time, hands-on role involves extensive collaboration with police and community partners. In this position, you will manage the Mobile Tracking System (MTS) Program, ensuring trauma-informed, client-centered support for individuals in crisis.
You should possess at least three years of crisis intervention experience and a relevant post-secondary degree. Your primary tasks will include conducting comprehensive risk assessments and creating individualized service plans, while also providing critical assistance during high-risk situations. Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the Mobile Tracking System Program
Offer crisis intervention and emotional support for clients
Perform validated risk assessments to determine eligibility
Implement personalized service plans with community referrals
Collaborate in multidisciplinary case conferences for effective client support
Requirements:
Degree in Social Work or a related human service field
3+ years of experience in crisis intervention
Expertise in trauma-informed support methodologies
Robust interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Familiarity with community resources for effective referrals
Help transform the lives of those at risk while working with community partners at Victim Services.
