Enhance public health initiatives with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority as a Public Health Nurse. This in-person role focuses on nursing care for individuals with ostomies in Manitoba.
In this role, report directly to the Team Manager while managing day-to-day operations for the Manitoba Ostomy Program. You will ensure high-quality evidence-based nursing care and compliance with best practices in enterostomal nursing. Your valuable experience in community and long-term care will be critical for success.
Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate daily operations of the Manitoba Ostomy Program • Provide quality nursing care to patients with ostomies • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care • Ensure adherence to best practice guidelines • Implement evidence-based practices for service delivery
Requirements: • Bachelor of Nursing degree required • Minimum 5 years in Community or Long-Term Care • Minimum 3 years as an ET nurse • CRNM and CAET registrations • Solid communication and problem-solving skills
