Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs at the checkout counter or front end area
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment with precision and integrity
Provide product demos and upsell additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales prospects
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the front end area is clean, welcoming, and well-stocked
Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clarity




Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing accuracy or friendliness

Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Familiarity with POS systems and retail technology is advantageous
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
Excellent organizational skills to keep the checkout area tidy and stocked
Demonstrated time management skills to handle peak hours effectively
