Bookkeeper / HR Administrator

Blackline Site Works is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / HR Administrator to join our team in Port Kells.

We are a growing civil construction company with nearly 30 employees. We’re looking for someone organized, dependable and comfortable handling both day-to-day bookkeeping and employee administration.

Responsibilities
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Processing payroll and reviewing employee hours
Bank and credit-card reconciliations
Preparing invoices and tracking outstanding payments
Maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with month-end reporting and year-end preparation
Managing employee files and onboarding paperwork
Administering perks and RRSP programs
Supporting hiring, employee reviews and other HR-related tasks
Keeping company policies and employment documents organized and current
Working with management, accountants and external service providers
General office and administrative support as required

What We’re Looking For
Previous bookkeeping experience
Experience with payroll and basic HR administration




Strong attention to detail and organization
Good communication and follow-through
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Comfortable working independently and managing priorities
Experience in construction would be an asset
Experience with accounting and payroll software would be an asset

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
