Responsibilities
Diagnose vehicle damages accurately and determine the necessary repairs with enthusiasm and precision
Perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, frame straightening, and refinishing to meet high-quality standards
Use specialized tools and equipment safely to restore vehicles efficiently
Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of repairs
Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate progress clearly to supervisors and customers
Follow safety protocols diligently to create a secure work environment for everyone involved
Inspect completed work thoroughly to ensure it meets quality standards before returning vehicles to customers
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role within the automotive repair industry
Robust knowledge of vehicle structures, body repair techniques, and refinishing processes
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized repair equipment
Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and repair orders accurately
Excellent attention to detail coupled with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
Certifications such as I-CAR or ASE are highly desirable but not mandatory
