Monte Bakery is looking to grow our team with passionate and dedicated individuals who are interested in working in a qualified bakery environment.

We are looking for a baker/pastry cook who is experienced in mixing, shaping, and baking a variety of breads and viennoiseries.

The position mainly focuses on mixing and deck-oven baking, but experience with shaping is also preferred.

Main Responsibilities:
Mixing doughs for croissants, sourdough, baguettes, focaccia, salt bread, burger buns, and other bakery products
Baking products such as sourdough, baguettes, salt bread, and other breads in a deck oven
Shaping and preparing doughs and viennoiseries
Following recipes, production schedules, and quality standards
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Working efficiently in an early-morning bakery production environment

QUALIFICATIONS:
1 or more years of skilled baking or pastry experience preferred
Experience with both baking and dough shaping
Experience working with bread and/or viennoiserie is an asset
Experience with sourdough, baguettes, croissants, or other bread products is preferred
Basic understanding of baking ingredients, dough development, fermentation, and baking processes




Able to work independently and efficiently
Willing to learn and work as part of a team

Work Schedule:
Full-time, Permanent
Start time: 3:00 AM
Early-morning availability is required

Salary: $19.00–$20.00 per hour
