In this energetic role, you will operate heavy snow removal equipment to explicit snow and ice from roadways, parking lots, and other designated areas. Duties

- Operate snow plows, salt spreaders, and other heavy equipment efficiently to clear snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and walkways
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for vehicle repairs or automotive repairs needed for heavy equipment
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents during snow removal operations
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklift or other heavy machinery when necessary
- Monitor weather conditions continuously to plan effective snow removal strategies
- Maintain detailed logs of work completed,



including areas cleared and materials used

Skills

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a focus on heavy equipment operation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL license preferred but not required
- Certification in forklift operation and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor equipment issues quickly
- Ability to operate salt spreaders, plow trucks, and other specialized machinery safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures when coordinating material loads or unloads
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report operational status
