Job Title: Daycare - Childcare Provider
Status: Seasonal
Reports to: Daycare Supervisor and Snow School Management Team
Salary: 18:50 - 20.50 (depending on qualifications)
Primary Objectives: To provide guidance and promote pro-social behavior. It is our goal to provide a protected, healthy and inclusive atmosphere for the children.

Scope of Responsibilities:
- Check-In and Information Collection
- Check in children upon arrival.
- Collect and ensure all relevant parent information is up to date.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure children have access to healthy snacks and sufficient water throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
- Facilities Assistance
- Aid children in using facilities as needed.
- Play and Learning
- Provide age- and developmentally-appropriate play and learning experiences.
- Facilitate and assist with both indoor and outdoor activities.
- Assist instructors with toddler lessons when required.
- Fun and Engagement
- Participate in fun activities with the children.
- To have fun on your skis or snowboards throughout the season.

Requirements:
- Must be 19 years or older
- Provide 2 personal references
- Resume
- Must have Childsafe First Aid
- Food Safe Certification beneficial
- Must be willing to complete criminal record check
- Must have a minimum of 20 hours documented training pertaining to health, safety and or child development (Registered Adult) OR ECE, ECE assistant, or Bachelor of Education (Primary)
- Have a hard working and fun personality!
Resort Conditions: Working at a Winter Resort means no two days are the same—and that's part of the adventure! You’ll get to experience a variety of unique locations, from cozy lodges to scenic mountain-top venues only accessible by chairlift. Be prepared to embrace the elements; whether it's bluebird skies, fresh snowfall, or the infamous coastal rain.
Expect to navigate multi-level lodges, steep stairways, and outdoor areas where the terrain can be sloped, snowy, or slippery, so good footwear is essential, indoors and out. Walking through large, icy parking lots is also part of the daily journey. If you love fresh air, stunning views, and a workplace that keeps you on your toes, this is the spot for you!
