As part of the Primary and Preventative Health Services, the Compliance Analyst works to ensure accountability in Alberta's health care insurance. Reporting to the Manager of Data Analytics & Monitoring, you will analyze claims data to identify potential fraud, waste, and abuse. Your expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis will be crucial in executing compliance reviews and audits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify fraud and non-compliance via data analytics • Analyze large health data sets to support audits • Develop reports and dashboards to monitor trends • Collaborate with teams to evaluate compliance issues • Prepare explicit documentation and recommendations
Requirements: • Degree in a related field with 2 years experience • Skills in SAS, SQL, R, or Python • Understanding of health claims and fraud principles • Ability to present complex findings clearly • Experience with data visualization tools is preferred
