Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Underground Labourer to join our team. Work will include replacing rail in an underground workplace. The work will be done on a day shift, Monday to Thursday schedule until the scope is complete. Schedule is subject to change.

Responsibilities
Assist with site preparation activities in underground settings
Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure a secure working environment for all team members
Load, unload, and transport materials
Collaborate with team members to execute tasks efficiently and accurately
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
Use hand and power tools as needed

Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to rail labour and underground work settings
Valuable endurance for physically demanding work




Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Must possess valid Underground Service Types Common Core at a minimum

Pay - $28/h-$30/h

Schedule - Monday to Thursday, 12 hour day shifts

Duration - Ongoing until scope of work complete.

This position is a term contract and is not advertised as permanent full time employment.
