Duties

Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Support the cooking process by following recipes and instructions to prepare meals efficiently and accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly.
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and storage guidelines.
Serve dishes promptly and courteously to customers or team members, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.




Support the kitchen team during busy periods by performing various tasks as needed to ensure timely meal service.

Skills

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Excellent serving skills with a friendly and qualified attitude towards customers and team members.
Basic cooking skills with knowledge of meal preparation processes.
Experience working in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Valuable organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, ensuring smooth kitchen operations at all times.

Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
